Privacy and data

This page explains, in plain language, what data KeepCipher handles across the site and licensed workflows, and why that data is needed.

In short
  • KeepCipher site and services handle the data needed for download, activation, checkout, support, and portal flows.
  • Licensed workflows can involve access codes, order references, ticket messages, and device activity tied to activation.
  • The public Windows setup is not intended for browser hijacking, bundled software, or advertising offers.
Website and checkout data

When you use the register, pricing, and checkout flows, KeepCipher can process the access code, name, email, payment-related references, and messages that you submit through the site or portal.

Licensing and device activity

To run device-bound Pro, KeepCipher can record activation events and activity associated with approved devices. This supports license enforcement, portal visibility, and support workflows.

Support and ticket history

If you open a ticket through the customer portal, KeepCipher stores the subject, messages, status, priority, and related license context so support can continue the thread without losing history.

What is not the goal

The public setup is not intended to change the browser home page, default search, extensions, or unrelated system settings. It is also not intended to install bundled third-party software.

Where to ask questions

For questions about data handling, support, and activation, use the customer portal, public social channels, or the contact page below. That is the most direct path to the KeepCipher team.
